Psychological and Educational Assessment - Dyslexia, Dysgraphia and Dyscalculia
This assessment can identify if a child or adolescent is exhibiting learning difficulties and if they meet the diagnostic criteria for a specific learning disorder such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia and/or Dyscalculia.

Gifted Assessment
A psychological and educational assessment which can identify if a child or adolescent is gifted or advanced for their age. This assessment can also examine an individual's suitability for educational opportunities such as academic extension, enrichment and acceleration.

Intellectual Assessment
This assessment examines general intellectual ability. It also examines areas of strength and/or weaknesses in an individual's cognitive profile.

Fees
The current fee recommended by the Australian Psychological Society for a 45-60 minute consultation with a psychologist is $311.
The approximate estimated time for a psychological and educational assessment is as follows:
Initial Consultation – 30-45 mins
Intellectual Assessment – 90 mins
Educational Assessment – 90 mins
Report Preparation – 150-180 mins
Subsequent Consultation – 45-60 mins

Diagnostic Review Assessment
This assessment examines a child or adolescent's response to intervention that has been implemented to address their literacy and/or numeracy difficulties. It determines if a diagnosis of a specific learning disorder, such as Dyslexia or Dyscalculia, can be made. It is suitable in instances where a previous assessment has been conducted and a diagnosis was not given at the time due to the requirement for targeted intervention.

Comprehensive Psychological, Educational and Behavioural Assessment
This assessment investigates an individual's intellectual ability, behaviour and academic achievement. It can identify if a child or adolescent is exhibiting learning difficulties or a specific learning disorder such as Dyslexia. It can also identify giftedness. This assessment investigates if an individual is exhibiting behavioural and emotional difficulties such as inattention and anxiety symptoms. It also examines if a child or adolescent is displaying ADHD symptoms.

Special Examination Arrangement Assessment
This involves an intellectual and educational assessment to determine eligibility for special examination arrangements such as extra working time. Individuals with a specific learning disorder, such as Dyslexia, are eligible for special examination arrangements. This assessment examines if an adolescent meets the diagnostic criteria for a specific learning disorder and evaluates the functional impact and severity of their learning disability.
